Lamborghini Diablo SV-R

The Diablo SV-R is the first Lamborghini race car straight from the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory. 31 examples were built to compete in their Supertrophy series. A naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V12 engine produces 533 HP, bolted to a five-speed manual transmission.

The racing Lambo recently came out of a $125k restoration from Lamborghini Melbourne, using brand new original parts to bring it back to its race specification. It can now compete in the EU/US International GT Legends series. The racer is located in Australia and is offered in an online auction at Trading Garage.

1970 Chevrolet LS5 Chevelle SS Convertible - $93k

LS5 454/360 HP engine. Automatic transmission. Positraction rear axle. 8,400 actual miles. SS wheels with wide oval tires. Correct spare and jack assembly. Power steering, windows, and convertible top. Sport steering wheel. Black bucket seat interior. Under hood auxiliary light. Factory Cranberry Red. Front bumper guards. Pushbutton AM radio. Oval aluminized exhaust.

1970 was a watershed year in the history of American muscle. Most would agree that the muscle era hit its apex in 1970. Vying for the top of the pops was Chevrolet's Chevelle SS 454. The SS 454 carried Chevy's intermediate performance banner. The Super Sport package, Chevelle's highest performance option, was available in the hardtop Sport Coupe ($3,497) and convertible. ($3,697) The big block LS5 454-cubic-inch V8 produced 360hp in standard form. The LS6 produced a claimed 450 gross HP in solid-lifter, high-compression guise and cost a mere $263.30. 4,574 LS5s were produced in 1970. Of those, 91 were convertibles.

While not the uber top end LS6, they surely aren't giving these babies away. A 1970 LS5 Convertible made $ 185k in 2011 at Barrett Jackson. This example made $93k at Mecum.

BMW M1 once owned by Paul Walker - $500k

453 examples of the BMW M1 were made, and this modified AHG Studie is even rarer. 53 cars would be built for racing. Ten road cars were modified by German BMW dealership AHG. Made to look like the racing M1s used in the Procar series, they received a comprehensive makeover.

The 3.5-liter straight-six engine produced 277 horsepower in a regular M1. AHG pushed this to 350 hp. A five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential was standard. This M1 has covered 4,200 miles from new. It made $500k.

The modified M1 rarely come to auction. One appeared in 2015 and failed to change hands on a $650k high estimate.

1980 Ford F-250 4x4 - $97k

A 1980 Ford F-250 4×4 sold for a ridiculous $97,000. Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over blue vinyl, it has put 76 miles on the clock over the last 40 years. The list of luxuries include a high-output heater, an AM radio, and a hook for your coat.

SSC Tuatara claims world speed record at 282.9 MPH

The $1.9m SSC Tuatara has claimed the world’s fastest production car crown with a speed of 282.9 mph. The car completed the feat on the old Space Shuttle landing strip in Florida on January 17.

2009 Ferrari 599 GTZ Nibbio Spyder

A 2009 Ferrari 599 GTZ Nibbio Spyder will be up for grabs at RM Sothebys. 6 GTZ Nibbio Spyders were created by coachbuilder Zagato. This example is finished in gunmetal grey with a black leather interior. Estimate is €1,400,000 to €1,600,000.

Scottsdale - Gooding & Co

A 1926 Type 37 is among the most iconic and desirable of all grand prix Bugattis. The car was owned by a single owner for over 60 years. Only his death brought it to auction. The car brought $937k.

A 2011 Porsche 997 GT2 RS, one of 500 built, with 3,000 miles from new, it made $378k. The car is powered by a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six that pumps out 612 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. It is referred to as the 'widow maker' in some circles.
