Around 500 were built. |
 | The one-off Sledgehammer was an evolution of Callaway’s aim to push the boundaries of top speed in a road-driven car. In 1987, The Top Gun C4 reached 231mph.(371km/h) 898hp and 772ft-lb was sent to the rear wheels through a Doug Nash overdrive-equipped five-speed manual transmission. The Sledgehammer's top speed run in October 1988 of 254.76mph (409.9kmh) made it the fastest road-legal car in the world. |

 | In 1963 Chrysler developed the 426/415hp Max Wedge Super Stock. These cars were factory built race cars that were sold to compete in factory Super Stock drag racing competition. Although they were sold to the public, the car did not come with a factory warranty. As tested in the January 1963 issue of Hot Rod magazine, off the showroom floor, these cars ran 12.69 seconds at 112 miles per hour in the quarter mile. |

 | The Yenko Chevy Nova for 1970 used the LT1 found in the Corvette LT1 and Camaro Z/28. Even with the high-compression 350 cubic-inch LT1 engine, producing 360 horsepower, the Yenko Deuce managed to skate under the performance car insurance premium. 175 Chevy Nova Yenko Deuces were produced, 122 four-speeds, and 53 automatics. The final 50 of the Yenko Deuce were sent to Hurst for final assembly, and are noted by an “H” in their VIN. This is Yenko number HYS-171. It is one of only ten built in Sunflower Yellow, and the only copy in Sunflower Yellow equipped with the TH400 automatic known to exist. |
