This 1969 Chevrolet COPO Camaro RS is presented as Lot S122 at Harrisburg. 1 of 58 COPO Cameros built with Rally Sport option in 1969. 427/425 HP L72 engine. COPO 9737 Sports Car Conversion. Solid lifter camshaft, winters aluminum intake, Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Power steering, Power brakes with front disc.
The most desired muscle machines to emerge from Chevrolet COPO machinations were the 427-powered Camaros. This 1969 Chevrolet COPO Camaro is a rare and highly desired commodity.
The L72 427/425 HP engine was a race-ready powerhouse. 11.1:1 compression, a 780 CFM Holley 4-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, free-flowing rectangular-port heads, solid-lifter camshaft and a forged rotating assembly in a 4-bolt main bottom end.
The COPO 9561 equipment package further adds a beefy 400 Turbo automatic transmission with a horseshoe shifter, a BE-code 4.10:1 Positraction rear end, power front disc brakes and a 4-core curved-neck radiator.
