1967 Shelby GT500 Fastback - $143k

Shelby no. 00410. 1 of 118 Nightmist Blue GT500s produced with automatic transmission in 1967. 24,000 original miles. Concours rotisserie restoration. Original sheet metal and fiberglass. Original Shelby tag and all VIN stamps. Matching numbers 428 CI Police interceptor engine, balanced and blueprinted. Restored original Holley 600 CFM BJ/BK 4-barrel carburetors. Matching numbers Select-O-Matic transmission. Power steering. Power brakes with front discs. Black Decor interior. Fold-down rear seat. Extra cooling package. Factory stripe car. Inboard lamps. Tachometer and trip odometer. Restored original glass.
Like all 1967 GT500s, the Shelby was converted from a big-block Mustang fastback to high-performance Shelby with a fiberglass hood and spoilered trunk lid, grille-mounted high-beam headlights, upper and lower side scoops, and distinctive sequential tail lights. Shelby American produced only 2,044 GT500s for 1967.
The 428 cu. in. V-8 engine (7.0 L) had two 600 CFM Holley four-barrel carburetors sitting atop a mid-rise aluminum intake manifold producing 355 hp.

This example hammered for $143k.
