![]() | Top lot thus far at Kissimmee is this concours quality 1970 Boss 429. Kar Kraft No. 2346. Restoration by Mustang expert Kevin Manley, resulting in MCA Concours Gold level condition. 1 of 499 built. Grabber Blue exterior. White and black interior with Hurst shifter. Close-ratio 4-speed transmission. 3.91 Traction-Lok rear end. Nothing compares to Ford’s mighty Boss 429 Mustang. Created and released for one purpose – to homologate Ford’s hot new hemi-head Boss 429 engine for NASCAR Grand National competition. |
| The “Boss Nine” was essentially hand-built by Ford racing subcontractor Kar Kraft of Brighton, Michigan. Ford rated output of the “street” Boss 429 at 375 horsepower, a figure that is laughable as the more plausible is 500+ horses. This Boss is concours quality throughout. | ![]() |
