2012 Aston Martin Vantage GT4

Factory built GT4 race car. 1 of 12 built to compete in various series across the world including the European GT4 Championship. 4.7L V-8 engine. Vehicle construction cost $225,000. Track ready.

The 2008 Vantage GT4 started a dominating winning streak in European GT4 competition. For 2012, the automaker released a new version of the Vantage GT4. The 2012 Vantage GT4s were so successful that they took two championships, 40 race wins and 47 podium finishes.
The Aston Martin 4.7L V-8 produces over 400 HP from the factory, with fuel delivery via a midmounted fuel cell. The mill is mated to an Xtrac 6-speed sequential manual transmission, with slowing duties assigned to 4-wheel, two-piece discs with 4-piston monoblock calipers. Pirelli racing rubber keeps the car stuck to earth.

The interior is all business with a full roll cage, Recaro competition seat, Sabelt six-point harness, FIA compliant Lifeline plumbed-in extinguisher system and quick-release steering wheel. The carbon fiber center stack houses all the pertinent stitch gear and controls, plus a two-way radio for race communications.
The racer appears at Mecum's.
