1967 L88 Corvettes

The only 1967 Chevrolet Corvette coupe still carrying its original L88 engine was being offered for sale by the Corvette Mike dealership. The price: $3.95m. The Sunfire Yellow coupe has undergone a 10-year, frame-off restoration with each component, nut and bolt sourced from the original car or from NOS suppliers. Of the 20 L88s produced in 1967, about half still exist, but only three retain their original, 427cid V8 engines, and the other two are convertibles.
1967 L88 Corvette Serial No. 21550 stands as the most successful L88 Corvette race car of all time during its eight-year racing career. It took home a record-setting 52 victories. The car high bid to $3.2m at Mecum
