1969 Chevrolet COPO Camaro - $165k

Matching numbers drivetrain. COPO 9561 427/425 HP L72 engine. Documented with GM of Canada paperwork. CCI Platinum Certificate scoring 997 of 1000. 4-speed manual transmission. Special ducted hood. Power steering. Power brakes with front discs. Front and rear spoilers. Fathom Green with Green interior. Color-matched bumpers. Bucket seats and console with gauges. Rosewood steering wheel. Tachometer. Rally wheels. Goodyear Polyglas tires.
The 427-equipped Camaro through COPO made it possible to sell the cars with the GM-standard 5-year or 50,000-mile warranty. Yenko ordered a grand total of 198. The total number of COPO Camaros produced and sold is unknown, but is thought to be between 500 and 1,000.
The monster 427 produced at least 450hp @ 5600 and 460 of twist @ 4000. 0-60 time is 5.4 sec.

Camaro 427s came from COPO with almost nothing identifying them as a special model; they even came with the old dog dish hubcaps on steel wheels. Today these cars are highly desirable. This example stalled @ $130k high bid but then changed hands for $165k at Mecum.
