1995 McLaren F1 - $20.47m

A 1995 McLaren F1 sold for a record-setting $20.47 million at Gooding & Company’s Pebble Beach auction. The price makes the supercar the most expensive F1 of all time and is the highest price paid for a vehicle at auction this year. 106 F1s were built between 1992 and 1998. This example, Chassis 029, is the 25th of 64 road cars from the production run. Originally sold to a collector in Japan, the car is in “as delivered” state. It has 243 miles on the clock.
