1931 Packard Eight Phaeton - $143k

Original 319/100 HP straight eight engine. 4-speed synchromesh transmission. 134.5 inch wheel base. Bijur lubricator system. Older professional restoration. The Packard Eight was a luxury automobile produced by Packard between 1924 and 1936. The eight-cylinder Packard replaced the 12-cylinder “Twin Six”. Well monied customers often wanted chauffer-driven models such as the Deluxe Eight Sport Phaeton. The car was priced at a stupid $3,790 when new. A new 1931 Ford Model A DeLuxe Roadster cost $625.

97 examples in total were built. One of the most beautiful and iconic body styles from one of Packard's ultimate years, the car is hugely desirable. The car made $143k at Mecum.
