1964 Galaxie 500 - $104k

Less than 10 miles since frame-off rotisserie concours restoration. Multiple award winner. Q Code 427/410 HP V-8 engine, as approved for NASCAR competition. Original HEH-H Toploader 4-speed manual transmission. Rare NOS Chrome engine dress-up kit. Rare factory engine temperature warning system.

The Ford Galaxie is a full-sized car that was built by Ford for model years 1959 through to 1974. The name was used for the top models in Ford's full-size range. For 1962, all full-size Fords wore the Galaxie badge, with "500" and "500/XL" denoting the higher series.
1964 was the fourth and final year of this body style. The Galaxie 500 was available with everything from the thrifty Mileage Maker Six to the 427-cu.in. Q and R-code monsters. The single four-barrel engine produced 410 horsepower.
This truly pristine example made $104k at Mecum.
