The 1966 Shelby GT350 Fastback features a modified Ford "K-Code" 289 "HiPo" V8 engine tuned by Shelby to produce 306 horsepower. A Paxton supercharger was an option, boosting output to 440 hp. With a top speed of 161 mph and quarter-mile times of just 11.8 seconds, the car was formidable. Production in 1966 saw 2,380 units, with 1,372 sold to the public.
