Hagerty 2025 bull market list

1983 Datsun 280ZX Turbo 5-Speed
The Hagerty bull market list is produced annually and is based on vehicle sales. Over the years it has proved a reliable indicator of consumer sentiment.

1978-1983 Datsun 280ZX ($32,800) The ZX captures a lot of the appeal of the original Z at a fraction of the cost, especially when equipped with a turbocharger. A turbocharged option was introduced in 1981, boosting power and performance, and a revised suspension appeared in the later turbo models. Prices have increased by 138% since 2019 and will go higher says Hagerty.
1981-1983 DeLorean DMC-12 ($75,100) When new, the DeLorean DMC-12 was a statement car and a pop culture phenomenon. The Delorean had the looks of a sports car, but its performance and road capabilities were anemic. A 2.85L V6 managed 130 HP. Although only built until 1982, remaining examples were sold until 1983. Long panned, DeLorean DMC-12 prices have shot up more than 73% since 2019.
1961-1964 Jaguar E-Type SI 3.8 Coupe. ($182,800) Known as the "SI", the car is a classic British sports car, featuring a 3.8-liter version of the Jaguar XK engine and famous for its speed and handling. Values have retreated over the last three years, but that has brought them within reach of a new generation of Gen Xers. Prices have rebounded by 8% in the past year and now is the time to buy says Hagerty.
2003-2013 Lamborghini Gallardo 6-speed. ($157,700) The Gallardo's V-10 with optional 6-speed manual remind enthusiasts that a car's driving experience is more important than its spec sheet. Gallardo prices have inched up 7% since 2019 but remain much less than other Lamborghinis. Hagerty says now is the time to grab a Gallardo.
2005-2008 Dodge Magnum SRT-8. ($32,600) When the rear-wheel-drive Magnum SRT-8 arrived with a 425-hp V-8, it was one of the rowdiest station wagons ever built. An excellent Magnum SRT-8s can be had for around $32,000, and even after a 39% increase over the last 5 years, it is still a relatively affordable cult classic. Buy one says Hagerty.
