One of 106 made between 1992 and 1998, and one of 64 road-going versions, this example has 390 kilometers (242 miles) on the clock. A hallowed name in the climate-controlled halls of uber rich car collectors, it’s expected to go for “in excess” of $15m, making it a member of the top 30 most expensive cars ever sold. Its naturally aspirated BMW Motorsport six-liter V-12 engine developed over 100 hp-per-liter that revved to a 7,500 rpm redline. The F1 featured a revolutionary carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a six-speed manual transaxle, unassisted Brembo brakes, and bespoke high-speed tires.
