1969 Chevrolet COPO Chevelle

One of only three COPO Chevelles produced in special-order Hugger Orange for Canadian market in 1969. The only example equipped with 4-speed manual transmission. Frame-off rotisserie restoration using many NOS parts. Original GM sheet metal. COPO 9566 427/425 HP L72 V-8 engine. Gardner exhaust. Muncie M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed transmission. 4.10 Positraction differential. Vacuum-assisted power brakes with front discs. Hugger Orange with White longitudinal side striping. Black bench seat interior. SS wheels.

Chevrolet built 86,307 SS Chevelles in 1969, and of that number, 323 were COPO cars. Of those elite 323, 99 were sent to Yenko to be transformed into a Yenko S/C Chevelle at his Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, dealership.

GM built 96 COPO Chevelles with automatic transmission (Code MP) and 277 with a four-speed (Code MQ). In 2014 a 1969 Chevrolet COPO Chevelle made $101k. This example appears at Glendale.
