Most expensive Lamborghini at auction - $8.3m

One of nine made to celebrate Lamborghini's 50th anniversary and the first Veneno Roadster sold at a public auction, it had 202 miles on the clock.
5 coupés and 9 roadsters were built in total. The engine is a 6.5-litre V12 and generates a power output of 740 hp at 8,400 rpm and 509 lb⋅ft of torque at 5,500 rpm.
The Veneno has a carbon-fibre monocoque chassis with aluminium front and rear subframe along with push-rod suspension system. A 7-speed ISR semi-automatic transmission includes a "track" setting for improved performance on a race track.

The Lamborghini Veneno has a top speed of 356 km/h (221 mph) and has a 0–97 km/h (0–60 mph) acceleration time of 2.8 seconds.
