1970 Shelby GT500 Convertible - $200k high bid

One of 90 1970 Shelby GT500 Convertibles produced. One of 36 equipped with factory 4-speed transmission. Matching numbers 428 Cobra Jet V-8 engine. 4-barrel carburetor. Matching numbers Toploader 4-speed transmission. Factory 3.50 Traction-Lok differential in modular case. Power steering. Power brakes. One of four produced in Gulfstream Aqua.
The 1970 model year would be the last for the GT350 and GT500. Technically, there were no Shelby Mustangs produced in 1970. The unsold 1969 GT350s and GT500s were given new 1970 identification numbers.

The car high bid to $200k against an estimate of $225k to $270k
