 | The GT500 was added to the line up in 1967 and came equipped with a "Ford Cobra" FE Series 428 cu in (7.0 L) V8 with two 600 CFM Holley four-barrel carburetors sitting atop a mid-rise aluminum intake manifold. Other upgrades included Holley BJ/BK carburetors, manifolds, RUGS-1 transmission, 3.50 Traction-Lok rear end, braking system with KH calipers and drums, a louvered hood, inboard driving lights, optional 10-spoke wheels with Goodyear tires. |
