1962 Ferrari 250 GTO - 3387GT

Gregor Fisken has been victorious in a legal battle with lawyer Bernard Carl over the £37 million sale of a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO in October 2017. When chassis number 3387GT was bought from Mr Carl by Mr Fisken it was known to not contain the original gearbox. The 'unique and special' original gearbox from the car - worth between $500k and $1m - was then found at a workshop in California.

39 of the cars were built between 1962 and 1964. 3387GT was the second GTO built and had an illustrious racing history. It was first in class and second overall at the 1962 '12 Hours of Sebring'.

Unless the matter is appealed, Carl must deliver the GTO gearbox to Fisk.
