Zero-to-60-mph time comes in 3.1 seconds while zero-to-124-mph clocks in at 10.9; the sprint through the quarter-mile is said to consume 11.2 seconds.
The 2016 GT3 RS made hay with a 7-minute, 20-second lap time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the gold standard of performance hairsplitting. The RS features rear-wheel steering, an infinitely variable locking limited-slip differential (PTV Plus), and Porsche Active Suspension Management.

1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda - $220k high bid

In the muscle car world, the Plymouth Hemi Cuda is the Holy Grail. It was the third generation of the Plymouth Barracuda and offered from 1970 to 1974. The Barracuda was discontinued after the 1974 model year.

The Cuda had the 383ci 335 as the standard engine. It also could be had with the 440ci four-barrel Super Commando, the 440ci six-barrel Super Commando Six Pak, and the top of the line 426ci Hemi.

The 440 and Hemi-equipped cars received upgraded suspension components and structural reinforcements. 1 of 284 produced. Period correct 426 CI engine rated 425hp . Highly desired factory 4-speed manual transmission. 11,836 miles since new.

This example resides near the very top of the collector food chain.

1969 Chevrolet Yenko Nova - $380k

Dennis Michalo purchased his 1969 Yenko Nova L78 396 new on April 4, 1969. Of 38 cars intended for conversion to L-72 427 iterations, only about half were converted. Produced only in 1969, less than ten are known to exist today.

His forgotten Yenko Nova is a rare machine.

This example was parked in 1978.
Copo deemed the Nova too much of a compact car for the power generated.

Yenko ordered stripped-down SS396 L78 Novas in Lemans Blue, Garnet Red, Rallye Green, and Fathom Green. Yenko then offered the L72 427 short-block replacement.
This Yenko Nova didn’t move again until 2018.
As a collectible, the Yenko Nova is in a league of its own. These cars usually only circulate inside the inner circle of serious collectors. The last time a Yenko Nova changed hands at auction in 2015 it made $380k.

Frame-off restoration. 427/450 HP engine. 4-speed transmission. 4.10 Positraction rear end. Power brakes. Lemans Blue with White Yenko stripes. Black bench seat interior. AM radio. Body-colored steel wheels. Dog dish hubcaps.

2017 Ford GT

The GT sports a mid-mounted twin-turbo V-6 that makes 647 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of twist sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Underpinning the GT is a carbon fiber monocoque bolted to aluminum front and rear subframes covered in carbon fiber body panels. The car also has a race inspired pushrod suspension system and active aerodynamics.
When the first new Ford GT models were delivered to screened Ford customers in 2017, they came with a caveat: the supercar could not be resold for 24 months. The car cost just over US$450,000.

At first those determined to get a bootleg car would have paid between $1.2m to $ 2m. Now that more cars are available the price is going down.

This example has 450km on the clock and carries an estimate of $750k to $900k.

Four out of the five most expensive Corvettes at auction are L88s. The L88 package was more than just the potent race engine. It included choice of the manual Muncie M22 Rock Crusher or M20 Hydramatic transmission.
Also included were power assisted heavy duty disc brakes, and the F41 heavy duty suspension.
The L88 stayed in production until 1969 with a total of 216 produced. Values of 1967–69 L88s have grown exponentially over the past decade.
The rarest Stingray 427 example from 1967. There were only 20 original factory units produced with half of these convertibles. It sold in 2014 for $3.9m.

Power is 1,035 hp in total, 187 bhp from the electric motor and 848 hp from the 6.3-litre V-12.

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 - $100k high bid

454/450 HP LS6 high performance engine. M22 4-speed transmission. Documented actual 21,575 miles. 12 bolt 4.10 Positraction rear end. Superior body-off restoration. Detailed to show quality, concours #1 standards.

“The past is gone. The future may never see a car like this." That prediction from 1970 came to pass and nothing ever again would approach the raw, ground thumping power of the 454 LS6.
The 450 horsepower LS6 was the most powerful engine offered in 1970. Due to the LS6's 6500 redline, deep groove accessory drive pulleys were necessary.
This pristine 1970 Chevelle LS6 is presented as lot S113 at Portland. The car high bid to $100k.
