Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo

Lamborghini has unveiled the first renders of the Temerario Super Trofeo. The Temerario Super Trofeo replaces the Huracan Super Trofeo and will make its racing debut in the Asian, European and North American championships in 2027. Powering the car is a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 650 hp, which drives the rear axle via a 6-speed sequential transmission. The car is based on an ALU/CFK hybrid chassis and comes with an FIA-certified roll cage, a 12-point adjustable traction control system, ABS, a Capristo exhaust system, KW suspension and BMC air filters.
A Super Trofeo is roughly half the price of a GT3 to buy and maintain, yet about a second faster per lap. The reason is simple: it is freed from all regulatory constraints. With hundreds of units sold since 2009, the Super Trofeo is a lucrative business for Lamborghini.
Lamborghini launched its customer racing programme in 2009. The Gallardo Super Trofeo raced in the first four seasons before being replaced by the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo. The Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo was introduced in 2015, followed by the two Evo versions in 2018 and 2022.
